UNSC 70th Anniversary - Future of UNSC

13th May 2015

UN Charter

Fundamental principles of the UN Charter, including peaceful settlement of conflicts and non-interference in internal affairs, are especially topical at the moment. Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday receiving credentials from foreign ambassadors. Putin said a jubilee session of the UN General Assembly was due in New York in September. "The international community will mark the 70th anniversary of the United Nations".

"It was together with anti-Hitler coalition allies that we managed to create this unique structure, lay the basis for the post-war world order. The fundamental principles reflected in the UN Charter - equality of sovereign states, non-interference in internal affairs, a peaceful settlement of disputes - were literally hard won by the humankind. In line with them, Russia will keep contributing in every possible way to ensuring stability and security in international affairs. And we will keep developing friendly relations with all partners - in the West and in the East, taking part in work on collective solutions to global and regional problems". President Putin said.

The absence of Christian or Muslim principles or values along with fundamental principles makes it common for each country to have extra territorial activity.

With any of these principles, countries like Saudi Arabia would have abolished barbaric practices for punishment of crimes centuries ago. It is with these age old practices that still lives today, and any of the principles we need to have is to keep world order.

Terrorist groups like Al Qaeda, Taliban etc. does not want change, and wants to live in the past. They are copy cats from the Middle East, and wants to be like a Sultan becoming rich with oil and copy barbaric acts. There are Salafists who are very violent, and is one of the very old ancient family of barbarism who still exist today. Poisonous ideology have originated from the ancient times. These are mentally ill people we are dealing with. They are not Islamists at all.

Even now, prison conditions are so very bad and appalling which also contributed a great deal to abusing human rights. Prison conditions needs to be improved, and people treated more kindly. If we had more better prison conditions all over the world, and punishments be more reasonable. We would cope better, and the world would be a better place. There is a need of reform for this.

Unless countries in the Middle East ditch severe punishments like beheading or stoning etc. Middle East will never change, and will always have war and strife.

Islam preaches anti-violence and anti-war policies. There comes a time when we cannot help the innocent people stuck in a time warp who believes in true and real Islam.

There has got to be more awareness of what is wrong and what is right, and be educated that the world needs to move on to be civil to one another, and cast their differences to one side and without using any form of violence. Violence is a disease that needs to be eradicated.

Global and regional problems can be shared on the road to understanding, on how to stop rebels getting hold of arms and weapons, collecting money through drugs, scamming or charities etc. We need to get a control of the whole situation by doing things together to stop all means of terrorism. More needs to be done, and without military solution. When one think of military solution, one gets distracted by the fact of not thinking about understanding situations and not doing something about them.

Signs of Sunni-Shia confrontation appear in Middle East. Lavrov expressing hope for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

Before the war when extremists invaded Syria. Syria had different religions living together peacefully. There was no problem with differences in faith, and was able to coexist for a long time. Although this was different in Iraq.

UN resolution needed for EU operation in Mediterranean - Russian Envoy, There are grounds for problems in the UN Charter.

The main problem is that IS is suspected of infiltrating Europe in such a way, that IS is profiteering from human trafficking and IS pretending to be fishermen.

The other problem is that there is no monitoring of the coast stretching from Libya and Syria to EU countries. Use of force like Somalia is necessary to deter boats from leaving the coast, but if migrants wants to reach North Africa as a refuge. Then they need to be escorted by any warships.

Another problem is that fishing boats are made for fishing, and used for fishing should not abuse their jobs and facilities intended for fishing. Any fishermen must not get involved with migrants. They deserve to have their assets seized and their boats confiscated.

Nothing has been said about control in the UN Charter I do not think, and I stress that there must be control dealing with migrants. Should IS buy a very big boat then, that would cause problems for possible invasion of EU countries.

Russian Muslims' social doctrine to bring up patriots protect believers from radicalism. This is a very good article to help Russian Muslims' stay away from radicalism. It is the leaders of Islam responsibility to protect believers and help them grow spiritually. The whole world should follow the example and copy the social doctrine.

Sunnis and Shias

Muslims are split into two main branches, the Sunnis and Shia. The split originates in a dispute soon after the death of the Prophet Muhammad over who should lead the Muslim Community.

Members of the two sects have coexisted for centuries and share many fundamental beliefs and practices. In urban Iraq, intermarriage between Sunni and Shia was quite common. The differences lie in the fields of doctrine, ritual, law, theology and religious organisation. Their leaders often seem to be in competition. Leaders were doing things the wrong way and if they want to be in competition, they should be striving for the common good and say "Good is better than evil".

There are Sunnis and Shias in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Iran, Saudi Arabia etc. Many of the conflicts emphasised the sectarian divide tearing communities apart.

Sunni Muslim regard themselves as the orthodox and traditionalist branch of Islam. In contrast to Shia, Sunni religious teachers and leaders have historically come under state control. The Sunni tradition also emphasises a codified system of Islamic law and adherence to four schools of law. In early Islamic history the Shia were a political faction.

There were intrigues, violence and civil wars which marred the caliphate in the first place to do with Prophet Muhammad. These events gave rise to the Shia concept of martyrdom and the rituals of grieving. There is a distinctive messianic element to the faith, and Shia have a hierarchy of clerics who practise independent and ongoing interpretation of Islamic texts.

There are millions of Sunnis and Shias.

In countries that have been governed by Sunnis, Shia tend to make up the poorest sections of society. They often see themselves as victims of discrimination and oppression. Some extremist Sunni doctrines have preached hatred of Shia giving rise to making politics. Shia gave a strong political voice during the civil war in Lebanon because of the military activities of Hezbollah.

The Iranian revolution of 1979 played a part in unsettling two main members of the sects. In Pakistan and Afghanistan, hardline Sunni militant groups such as the Taliban have often attacked Shia places of worship. The current conflicts in Iraq and Syria have also acquired strong sectarian overtones. Young Sunni men in both countries have the hardline ideology of al Qaeda. Many of the counterparts from the Shia community have been fighting for or alongside government forces. Recently this was happening in Yemen.

If the Shias were free of discrimination, oppression and poverty, they would have been content. It was their suffering that drove them to civil wars and fighting for their rights. It was their suffering that caused them to abandon the fields of doctrine, ritual, law, theology and religious organisation that once meant so much to them. They forgot  and accidentally created sectarianism and the meaning of true Islam. This is where Muslims leaders will have to have social doctrine to tackle radicalism like Russia among other things.

We need United Nations to play a greater role aiming to to securing a political settlement to end violent power struggle between politicians and democracy of the people. Democracy requests that we engage in reconciliation talks bypassing politicians. There are serious obstacles of doing a proper deal where politicians are involved, and when they started a war in the first place. It is not a case for every country though, when one parliament is not at fault. In the case of Ukraine forming a unity government is a good option, but the Minsk Accords needs to be implemented without the obstacles of Verkhovna Rada and President Poroshenko.

UN mediated peace process is needed to come between Ukraine and Eastern Ukraine needing a much needed political settlement. UN could ensure talks are ongoing and peace talks do not collapse. That politicians do not derail or stall the talks.

There is usually a disconnection between people and the politicians. The politicians are the ones who caused the problems in the first place especially with Obama, Merkel and EU.
There are grassroots efforts underway to establish anyone's peace deals. We always will have high hopes for a deal, and they must not be destroyed or undermined by any politician including heads of state and I do not mean Russia and other good countries.  It is the bad countries like Ukraine, Libya, Iraq etc.
Where politicians are not involved, people are highly optimistic of peace. People are the ones who has to suffer hardships, poverty, experience war and strife etc.
This is the moment of truth where politicians do create a failed state, and people have no control, which is why UN has got to intervene, and do more to take preventative measures to make sure it is not happening again. We now have got widespread violence, poverty, famine and disease. We have to nip this in the bud.
There always seem to be an impetus in peace talks in various parts of the world.
Implementing an agreement is proving highly challenging, regional, tribal, town and ideological differences are very complex and allegiances and grievances shift quickly.
The sticky points is that people have no choice but let politicians rule the world, and we have not got control of these politicians who become bad, and not caring about the people. This is where UN needs to come in, otherwise UN will spend decades preaching about poverty and strife etc.
Politicians are forever blaming each other, or we do have a case of some politicians crucifying other politicians shifting the blame on each victim countries. (Merkel against Putin for example)
It is a great concern US and UK in G7 are talking about nukes on UK soil for one. The last thing anyone wants to talk about is fuelling war. It is so absurd to put nukes before people.
It is disproportionate democracy. It would be great if UN can control all the politicians. We have not got regulation when it comes to arms and weapons and so on.

Around 70,000 foreign mercenaries are fighting alongside Islamic State (IS) terrorist organization militants in Syria, including 5,000-7,000 people from Russia and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries, Syria’s Grand Mufti Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun told in an exclusive interview with TASS on Wednesday.

"From around the world, there are around 70,000 [mercenaries] fighting alongside them [Islamic State militants], with 5,000-7,000 people from Russia and CIS countries. Some of them come with their families, undergo training in Turkey, receive financing from Saudi Arabia and instruction from US and Great Britain," Hassoun, who arrived to Russia to take part in the Islamic World International Conference".

The Grand Mufti said that IS recruits most mercenaries from such CIS countries as Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

Hassoun discussed the situation in Syria with the head of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society Sergey Stepashin.

The religious leader noted that Moscow student Varvara Karaulova, recently detained by the Turkish authorities on the border with Syria and suspected of planning to join IS, is not the first such case. "People go there with their families. Hundreds and hundreds of families from Tatarstan, Kazakhstan, from other Russian regions and CIS countries go there to join IS," the Grand Mufti said, adding that he talked to some of them.

"Several people turned themselves in. They said they were deceived. They were told that they will live in the Islamic caliphate. But they saw that those are just bandits fighting each other to steal more. There are also IS recruits from European countries as well. These recruits also do not know about the appalling conditions in war torn countries dominated by IS.

Propagandistic work to recruit people is working very well, the religious leader added. Stepashin in turn described as very successful the Syrian Grand Mufti’s recent visit to Russia’s Chechen Republic and his meeting with Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. "There have been no reports about Chechen militants in IS since then," he noted.

The problem of Islamic State’s recruiting allies is of a global scope and needs comprehensive approach with the leading role of the United Nations, Russian Foreign Ministry’s human rights ombudsman Konstantin Dolgov told Rossiya 24 television last week. This problem exists first of all among the youth, said the commissioner for human rights, democracy and supremacy of law. "Approaches to neutralizing this threat should be multilateral with the leading and coordinating role of the UN".

Economic security should become a priority for the Eurasian Economic Union, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev said on Monday.

Speaking at a meeting with Belarusian counterpart Igor Shunevich, Kolokoltsev said the new Russia-led political and economic bloc should focus on ensuring economic security of its member states. "Forming a common economic space will help increase efficiency of national economies and improve well-being of our citizens in the long run". The minister noted that lifting restrictions on movement of goods, services, capital and labour across the Eurasian Economic Union also brought new challenges. He emphasised the need to step up efforts to combat smuggling of goods, illegal capital flows and business crimes. Considering developments on the Eurasian Economic Union’s external borders, problems of money laundering and financing of terrorism are becoming especially relevant".

After the meeting, the two ministers signed decisions of the joint collegium of the Russian and Belarusian interior ministries and a plan of action for 2016.

The Eurasian Economic Union, which envisages free movement of goods, services, capital and labour and is based on the Customs Union, started operating in January, replacing the Eurasian Economic Community, which officially ceased to exist last October.

The regional assembly Russia formed together with Kazakhstan and Belarus expanded to four nations on January 2 when Armenia formally joined, a day after the union came into operation. The former Soviet republic of Kyrgyzstan acceded to the bloc in May and Tajikistan is also a prospective member.

Membership is open to other states assessed as sharing the assembly's aims and principles, its founders say.

UN resolution on Terrorists and Extremists (Aliens)

I demand that there should be a UN resolution on the actions of aliens who have created an organisation with financial and military assistance to fund terrorism and violent extremism. It is a special concern that aliens have gone out of control, and promoting their own interests that has got nothing to do with democracy, and fundamental beliefs and values in any specific religions. These aliens have to forfeit their rights to occupy lands, and keeping civilians hostage (forced prisoners of anti-islam etc) for their own gains while using violence and extremism.

I have to greatly stress that it is extremely important to have, and maintain inter-parliamentary relations anywhere in the world including European Union Council, European Union Parliament, OSCE and in countries especially between Ukraine and Russia. We have encouraged dialogues and talks especially between Taliban and Afghanistan which I thought was impossible.

There is no way we can have a breakdown in relations in inter-parliamentary relations around the world as this is supposed to be the starting point to get dialogues and talks.

It could be seen as violation of International Law if one country sets precedent not to have dialogue and talks, and creating a chain reaction around the world. No one has the luxury to fall out and do nothing, as it will cause catastrophic consequences like starting a war.

Failure of inter-parliamentary relations is the deep root cause of violence, war, famine and many more. Inter-parliamentary relations must not be politicised because of sanctions against parliamentarians, and countering Nazism rehabilitation amongst other things.

This lesson must be learnt that we cannot afford to ban any parliamentarians to take part in dialogues and talks. And we never have peace, unless parliamentarians get together for serious discussions or raise concerns for another country.

Since last year, we have made so much progress introducing dialogues and talks than ever before, which led to better understanding, cooperation and security.

And now I am so happy that there are now inter-parliamentary relations, but there have been false starts, leaps and bounds.

For few years, I have been campaigning for peace by writing my blog/diary. I now feel that my campaign has come to an end, as I feel I am not needed, especially progress has been made and we now have BRICS, SCO etc. And hopefully UNSC gets the reform it needs etc.

I wish you all the best in your ventures and aims of working for peace, understanding, cooperation and security.

All Moscow moves in Crimea's accession were in line with Helsinki principles and UN Charter. It is time that the UN Security Council recognise this and lift the UN sanctions accordingly. Reunification of Crimea with Russia is considered legitimate as it was annexed in the 1770s before it was mistakenly given to Ukraine voluntarily. Russia must have their name cleared and should not be shamed in any way.

United States - Russia bilateral relations

There are no clear signals on cooperation, and restoring channels of bilateral cooperation between United States and Russia. There can be no progress on issues or working together properly that could bring their positions more closely into alignment like on Syria or Libya for example. There needs to be frank and clear messages about areas on where they disagree, and airing these differences does not help, if US does not help with the implementation of the Minsk agreement which we all believe is the best path to peace in Ukraine. In fact no one can discuss issues about Ukraine. There can be no normalisation of US - Russia relationship and no normalisation of ties between Russia and the West. It is difficult to have a broad set of new discussions centering on security issues while global security architecture is needed, especially on non-proliferation.

If the general purpose was for Russia to integrate into global institutions by United States. United States has got to work on themselves first, and reform by cancelling visa ban on MPs in Russia, lift sanctions on Russia, remove NATO from borders of Russia and over Russia, recruiting and training in parts of the world, airstrikes of Syria, Iraq and Libya etc. It was impossible for Russia to accept that United States wants to do trade and development like the TITP etc which ended in disaster which was an ill thought out plan. There will be no change in posture in bilateral relations in the coming period with regard to Presidential Commission.

Bilateral relations are not going to improve if United States are not going to stop inflicting problems on the global institutions via Russia. There will be no cooperation, until all this is sorted out. United States needs to get rid of Russia rhetoric and phobia first, and clean up their act. United States will be the only country who will be isolated, and other countries will not deal, or want cooperation with United States. United States will never ever be a superpower ever again, and have proved International Law and Resolutions have been violated again and again.

There have been criticism about United States trying to break up the world, good at starting wars but not good at finishing off. I suspect United States are doing that to split nationalities forcing them to become refugees to integrate in other countries, going from a country like Syria which was mostly all Syrians with a Syrian like state as compared to a Jewish State. This I believe led to the widespread problem of migrants fleeing Libya, Syria, Iraq etc to Europe.

Europe's migration crisis caused by US policy of imposing standards - Putin.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/sep/04/10-ways-to-manage-the-migration-crisis

10 ways to manage the migration crisis. We have to deal with the deep root causes of migration to stop migration. There are more ways of dealing with migration if there is more monitoring by the international community regarding funding for terrorists and obtaining arms. We have to find the sources of what keeps the terrorists going, and how to stop them and stem the flow of terrorists.

We need to keep a very close eye on arms dealers around the world violating the rules of selling to terrorists and extremists. Not dealing with these deep rooted problems does lead to widespread migration and refugees seeking asylum.

Another problem as I have said before, maybe not on this blog, is that if we do not give money to migrants and refugees. They would turn to terrorists as a last resort for any funding eg. Uzbekistan, and gets into bad company. But the problem is that, would the migrants or refugees give money to terrorists?

I also said before, that I fear terrorists and extremists could be using the migrant crisis to try and enter Europe and flood into Europe.

They put people's safety at risk, and we have to be very strict with letting people use guns. Preferably no guns at all, as terrorists could target police or army with guns to get hold of them first etc. It is much safer for all police to carry tasers only.

Our priority is to stabilise all the war torn countries, and more effort is needed to control the terrorists and extremists.

Another answer would be to find an empty country or island free from war and violence to accommodate all the the migrants and refugees as Europe is not coping.

Israeli - Palestinian conflict

I believe Gaza Strip will be uninhabitable within a few years due to blockade by Israel which have debilitated Gaza's economy. Gaza Strip needs goods and people going in and out of the Gaza Strip.

The population of the small coastal enclave is rising, but vital resources like electricity and water from Israel is decreasing. Although we got donor funding, it is impossible to do anything due to blockade. It is also impossible to restore the Gaza Strip's economy. Health, energy, water, sanitation, education etc is on a fast decline making Gaza Strip a dump and breeding ground for dangerous toxins.

Imposing severe restrictions by Israel makes it impossible for the residents to live in Gaza Strip without a substantial standard of living. We can reconnect Gaza Strip residents to the West Bank, if Palestinians are willing to do a deal with Israel to give up the Gaza Strip in exchange for Golan Heights.

It sounds geo-political but it makes more sense as Golan Heights [annexed by Israel from Syria] could be the promised land bringing employment and donor funding would not have to wait.

Gaza Strip will become economically unviable and socioeconomic conditions have already deteriorated and will deteriorate further.

Israel does not really want Palestinians to live in Gaza Strip anymore due to risk of security on Israelis in case the Palestinians keep digging tunnels. Israel controls two of Gaza's borders.

It would give the Israelis peace of mind to have the Gaza Strip as it is closer to home, and it would help expand the Jewish State. It would greatly help the Israelis to make Israel very secure. If the Palestinians were to have Golan Heights, they could protect Israel from Syria as IS knows the Palestinians and vice versa and will not bother them. Palestinians would be prepared to fight for their new territory of Golan Heights against IS. The advantage for Israelis is that Palestinians would be far away up north to try and bother the Israelis.

I have made this suggestion and recommendation in my other blog "Israel - Palestine Peace Proposals" about Palestinians moving up north.

Early Jewish settlements history in Golan Heights

Construction of Israeli settlements began in the remainder of the territory held by Israel, which was under military administration until Israel passed the Golan Heights Law extending Israeli law and administration throughout the territory in 1981.This move was condemned by the United Nations Security Council in UN Resolution 497, which said that "the Israeli decision to impose its laws, jurisdiction and administration in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights is null and void and without international legal effect." Israel asserts it has a right to retain the Golan, citing the text of UN Resolution 242, which calls for "safe and recognised boundaries free from threats or acts of force". However, the international community reject Israeli claims to title to the territory and regards it as sovereign Syrian territory. There are approximately about 41 Israeli settlements and civilian land use sites in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights."

Early Jewish settlement In the mid-1890s most was owned and cultivated.  Some land had been purchased in the Golan and Hawran by Zionist associations based in Romania, Bulgaria, the USA and England, in the late 19th century and early 20th century. In 1880, Laurence Oliphant published Eretz ha-Gilad (The Land of Gilead), which described a plan for large-scale Jewish settlement in the Golan. In the winter of 1885, members of the Old Yishuv in Safed formed the Beit Yehuda Society and purchased 15,000 dunams of land from the village of Ramthaniye in the central Golan. Due to financial hardships and the long wait for a kushan (Ottoman land deed) the village, Golan be-Bashan, was abandoned after a year. Soon afterwards, the society regrouped and purchased 2,000 dunams of land from the village of Bir e-Shagum on the western slopes of the Golan. The village they established, Bnei Yehuda, existed until 1920. The last families left in the wake of the Passover riots. In 1944 the JNF bought the Bnei Yehuda lands from their Jewish owners, but a later attempt to establish Jewish ownership of the property in Bir e-Shagum through the courts was not successful.

Between 1891 and 1894, Baron  purchased around 150,000 dunams of land in the Golan and the Hawran for Jewish settlement. Legal and political permits were secured and ownership of the land was registered in late 1894.

The Agudat Ahim society, whose headquarters were in Yekatrinoslav, Russia, acquired 100,000 dunams of land in several locations in the districts of Fiq and Daraa. A plant nursery was established and work began on farm buildings in Djillin. The Jews also built a road stretching from Lake Hula to Muzayrib. A village called Tiferet Binyamin was established on lands purchased from Saham al-Jawlan by the Shavei Zion Association based in New York, but the project was abandoned after a year when the Turks issued an edict in 1896 evicting the 17 non-Turkish families. A later attempt to resettle the site with Syrian Jews who were Ottoman citizens also failed. Between 1904 and 1908, a group of Crimean Jews settled in the Bethsaida Valley, initially as tenants of a Kurdish proprietor with the prospects of purchasing the land, but the arrangement faltered.  Jewish settlement in the region dwindled over time, due to Arab hostility, Turkish bureaucracy, disease and economic difficulties. In 1921–1930, during the French Mandate, the Palestine Jewish Colonization Association (PICA) obtained the deeds to the Rothschild estate and continued to manage it, collecting rents from the Arab peasants living there.

French and British mandates

Great Britain accepted a Mandate for Palestine at the meeting of the Allied Supreme Council at San Remo, but the borders of the territory were not defined at that stage. The boundary between the forthcoming British and French mandates was defined in broad terms by the Franco-British Boundary Agreement of December 1920. That agreement placed the bulk of the Golan Heights in the French sphere. The treaty also established a joint commission to settle the precise details of the border and mark it on the ground. The commission submitted its final report on February 3, 1922, and it was approved with some caveats by the British and French governments on March 7, 1923, several months before Britain and France assumed their Mandatory responsibilities on 29 September 1923. In accordance with the same process, a nearby parcel of land that included the ancient site of Tel Dan and the Dan spring were transferred from Syria to Palestine early in 1924. The Golan Heights, including the spring at Wazzani and the one at Banias, thus became part of the French Mandate of Syria, while the Sea of Galilee was placed entirely within the British Mandate of Palestine. When the French Mandate of Syria ended in 1944, the Golan Heights became part of the newly independent state of Syria and was later incorporated into Quneitra Governorate. If I am correct Syria still has one third of Golan Heights while Israel has two thirds.

More on the role of United Nations

All countries may not be committed to UN reform with the exception of United Kingdom. While United Nations part purpose, is one to set a framework for peace in countries. We all want to see more transparency, more structure and more inclusion. United Nations can play an important role in making UN more effective and efficient through management reform increasingly.

It is good that all council members approach each issue individually and not allowing disagreements to affect areas where they do agree, and the issues that unite them are more numerous than those that divide us. There are many challenges on some big issues about the world in general that division among the Security Council has stopped them from taking action. This in turn cause more suffering and disease.

Although we value the UNSC's work greatly there are areas like we should focus more on the people of the world, and think less of targets and goals. We have resolutions which seem like making promises, and they mostly do not seem to be adhered to. Resolutions are not enough as they are words enshrined in the statute of international law.

While United Nations is the supreme power of International Law, it is not the supreme power for handing out sentences for all those who disobey International Law in spite of a good team of law experts. We have a lot of Presidents or Prime Ministers, and government officials resigning, or being tried for criminal activities which is part of a failure of the democratic system.

United Nations lack a lot of powers like electing Presidents or Prime Ministers to look after its own country, and its people. Or dealing with these politicians effectively. It is also difficult to have a top figure like a governor removed if one believes a crime or crimes have been committed in another country.

It has been extremely difficult to have a President or Prime Minister to resign if the people asks for it, as there are rules inside the parliament which only calls for impeachment, and cannot take any other action. We all do not want any more riots or protests concerning the head of each country, which in turn destabilise the country hugely. These riots and protests have to be nipped in the bud as they do sometimes turn into a civil war or unrest. When it does, it causes global unrest or war.

United Nations lack the power to give authority to any terrorist leader who have taken over the country trying to rule, to step down. There are also no papers of certification to issue for any new leader giving a legitimate approval by United Nations to rule, and paper asking for resignation on behalf of the people of each country.

Obviously United Nations does not take a very strict stance on political situations as UN focus more on poverty, disease, war etc.

World's economy

Russia is far ahead, and has modernised a modern democratic constitution under the political framework. In the current economic climate, world's economies are so deeply divided, and dysfunctional with so many differences and views on each economy of one's country.

UN could facilitate efforts to get all countries to live up to the expectations of the world community seeing the essence of the issue of the economy lies in Russia who created Eurasian Union.

Negotiating agreements on all parameters, world community is to be united and give each other support. The world can get together and merge into one economy using new initiatives and finding a political agreement to find one economy.

There are many benefits when countries are united or reunited under a new political framework, a modern democratic constitution. Experiencing and reaping the benefits of a rich culture with influences from different communities together, rather than exploiting their own culture to the detriment of other cultures and different communities.
The benefit of making all countries economies into one, will help peace sharing opportunities for new prosperity and economic growth. There are cultural, political and economic benefits to be reaped in a united community, bringing jobs and prosperity.
It makes everyone's lives a lot easier if there is only one economy to share, and reap rewards from it.
To make things easier, there is a plan for one economy, a world's economy.

World Health

I am sorry to hear that there is a new outbreak of the polio disease in Ukraine, Mali and elsewhere. It is good to have global eradication campaign against diseases caused by poor sanitation. Vaccinations are inadequate, and so is inadequate vaccination coverage.

World leaders are fully responsible to get children fully immunised against all kinds of diseases until they are 18 years old. It is extremely difficult during the war for parents to keep up immunisations for their children. The reason is due to the fact hospitals or surgeries are bombed or is inaccessible. There should have been mobile units to make sure children are up to date on vaccinations. United Nations should not have to pick up the tab, and do these things themselves. It is criminal if any world leader should destroy hospitals, surgeries and schools as well as shops.

We have preventative medicine, and that has got to be encouraged.

Some countries like Ukraine suffered vaccine deprived outbreaks. Diseases like polio and whooping cough etc are epidemic prone diseases. It affects children more with malnutrition, otherwise it is in the sewage.

World Health is one of the top priorities of looking after children.

Terrorists and Religion

While it is possible to counter terrorists with the mandate from UNSC calling for world order. The international community can step in if obligation is not met. We should not expect revolution, but expect an important shift in new collective leadership with a more assertive and uncompromising attitude to the rest of the world. We can expect political alliances, and prevent it become unstuck.

Aside from politics, if religion can be used to cause conflicts or fuel conflicts. Religion can be used to resolve conflicts with a need for open mindedness, tolerance and understanding among people of different religions. We have heinous atrocities and terrorist attacks by groups such as ISIL, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda and Al Shabab. There have been brutality and destruction in the name of religion.

Religious crises are because, they were directly, indirectly, solely or partly caused by religion. Christians (Israel), Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists fight for all sorts of reasons including ethnocentrism, religious fanaticism, misconceptions, prejudice, commercialisation of religion, role mixing of politics and religion by religious leaders. land disputes (indigene-settler problems), manipulations of ethnic and religious sentiments for political and economic reasons.

They would use firearms in such conflicts to start with, then bombs and explosives. Religion is a social diachronic of special interest that has orchestrated unbridled internecine conflicts and insecurity in parts of the world. We have this ferocious and colossal eruptions of religious conflict occasioned by extreme display of religious fanaticism and intolerance. The so called men of God are catalysts of commercialisation of religious institutions, and fast eroding religious values engendering high propensity of insecurity in the society.

The various factors that have caused religious fanaticism and violent conflicts, and their implications of disenchanting religious values, desecrating religious institutions which undermines security in parts of the world.

The most crucial factors that have occasioned religious fanaticism and insecurity include the nature of religion itself, diversely conflicting interpretations of doctrines and misinterpreting the Quran or the Bible etc within the same religion, aggressive evangelism and high level of poverty. The consequences of not promoting positive religious values, retrogressing religious institutions is the wanton destruction of men, properties, and heritage sites.

To effectively address religious values, fanaticism, and insecurity in parts of the world would be addressing, and promoting poverty alleviation, engendering absolute secularism, provision of adequate security apparatus (both manpower and technological mechanism, institutionalisation of all functional needs of the society, and threat from Russia with its sophisticated weaponry and forces.

While world leaders have the full responsibility to protect populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity in accordance with international law. Their own governments cannot really do anything about religious conflicts as it is not part of any government. They can only use mass media to the terrorists and extremists, and try and restore world order to be politically involved such as annexations, coalitions, removing evil terrorist leaders etc.

Legitimate religious leaders can only stop the rot of eroding religious values etc. and preach what is positive religion, while making sure they also help to protect populations from extremism and fanaticism as well as genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity. Religious leaders also have the full responsibility to protect populations. They must be aware of the great need for global security, and preserve their own special positive religion.

It is worth a thought about having a top religious leader for international community of religion (to cover all religions) to work in United Nations asking for cooperation etc. United Nations needs a spiritual leader to cover all aspects of spirituality.

This is my blog on Israel and Palestine. Feel free to use my blog as evidence of events unfolding during the war which is a diary to use against Israel.

I have read your reports with interest on Israel and Palestine. I feel very happy that United Nations have rallied around to take action against Israel regarding land grabs. Israelis religious values have been decreased considerably due to being racist, using sectarianism, hate and discrimination violating the fundamentals and principles of religious values. They are not real Christians. Israel over the years have made the state of Palestine shrink so much, and is still shrinking. Israel have deliberately asked Jews from abroad to stay in Israel so that it can expand and swallow up all of the rest of Palestine.

Palestinians are still being increasingly forced out of their own homes until there is nothing left. The populations of Israelis is almost the same as Palestinians so it would only be fair that part of Israel and Palestine should be split in half eventually. There are Palestinians in Syria, Jordan and Lebanon waiting to go home. I was upset about Israel refusing land swap, and not wanting to share a border at all with Palestinians.

I would very much appreciate if the United Nations can arrange to talk to Egypt for land swap of Gaza Strip to resettle some Palestinians in Egypt, and for Red Cross to evacuate children from the Gaza Strip for humanitarian reasons and safety to live in Egypt temporarily. The children are being abducted daily and possibly killed by Israelis soldiers.

Good to hear about UN Commission taking action with evidence against Guatemala President.

This still leaves President Poroshenko as he has got a list of wrongdoings while he is President. There are two instances.

World Police Problem

Countries like Libya, Iraq, Syria and Yemen has got no police forces or have got inadequate police forces which is the reason for not being able to control any civil wars. If each country could take a more reserved role instead of a proactive role. We could have no unilateral military action and military spending in line with similar size/wealth nations.

Some countries spends more on its own military while policing is really needed more. This is the worst scenario spending on military while the solution is really policing.  It does have economic impact and reduces the quality of life of residents.

Fighting crime needs to be through enhanced cooperation, innovation on police and security matters. To have global security, policing is best against coup d'etat, helping protesters by investigating corruption of government officials etc rather than against them.

The deep rooted problem of any civil war are inadequate police forces, inadequate target training, poor communications channels, poor equipment or lack of equipment such as walkie talkies, bullet proof vests etc. no expert investigative support, no relevant data or high tech infrastructure of technical and operational support helping to meet the growing challenges of fighting crime relating to terrorism.

The civil war started with 200 protesters and spiralled out of control with numbers increasing fighting against the al Assad government.  It shows that policing can do crowd management more effectively if the police had been properly prepared with good training, better equipment etc.

There are laws in different country, it would be a lot easier if there are the same laws in Syria, Libya etc. It worked well with all multicultural communities in UK with different faiths with only one judicial system.

It would be a great deal better that if countries like Russia who wants to avoid military involvement with guns and weaponry could freely help [Syria] set up police forces to combat terrorism without criticism.

This is an interesting discovery when you compare Parliaments in the 21st Century.

We have a United Ireland with probably all Irish ruling the Irish government,

We have United Kingdom who have earned its name by having ethnic minorities British citizens, who are MPs helping to rule Westminster recently elected in the last election.

United Wales with British and Welsh citizens.

United Scotland with British and Scottish citizens. Scotland has got a British citizen who became Scottish First Minister [Nicola Sturgeon].

And United Northern Ireland with Irish and British citizens, but the only country to have power sharing. There will always be one British and one Irish politicians to power share. This is history, and a first of its kind. This is the implementation of the peace process with or without the Stormont House Agreement. But connected to the Good Friday Agreement or Belfast Agreement.

Recently in Northern Ireland, the Education Department have further implemented the peace process by introducing integrated education between two schools to have a new school, shared education, integrated education to share shared education, and already have shared and integrated education which is a breakthrough to bringing down barriers in religious education as well and sharing education with ethnic minorities.

Referring to The National Dialogue Quartet of Tunisia. Kosachev, Chairman of the International committee of Russia's Federation Council Upper Parliament House said "Frankly speaking, I have mixed feelings. It is hard to evaluate the merits of this quartet in the national settlement after the revolutionary events of 2011. The fact that the Nobel Peace Prize has previously been awarded to 'such peacemakers' as Barack Obama and the European Union. The prize might have been awarded to moderate Syrians or Poroshenko. It would be exactly like George Orwell's novel 'War is peace'.

As a peace activist and peacemaker working worldwide solving problems to find peace. I would be insulted to be offered a Nobel Peace Prize to add to all these 'such peacemakers'. It is an insult to offer these Nobel Peace Prize winners money, while they are so well off. And although these past 'such peacemakers' give a serious message, they have not made any more effort to make more contributions to peace.

I am very offended that how hard I work, it would be nice to give the money to further peacemaking efforts, and get recognition, so people can take me very seriously and listen to what I have to say. I do not care for fame or money and I only care for people. It shows that the Nobel Peace Prize donors have made very bad judgements in the past choosing their own winners who are not even pragmatic.

MH17

The true blame really lies with Ukraine, as there had been sufficient reason to close off Ukrainian airspace but Ukraine did not do that - and on the day of the crash, 160 flights flew over the area in question. It is Ukraine's airspace responsibility to close their airspace. No one would have predicted a disaster would happen, after 160 flights on that day. Having an UN inquiry would be futile to try and apportioning blame.

21st October 2015

Israelis Prime Minister have given a bizarre and toxic speech smearing the late Mufti of Jerusalem who happened to be Palestinian Haj Amin al Hussein about the Holocaust in World Zionist Congress today. He accused the late Mufti of telling Hitler to burn the jews which has no real truth, and no evidence to support that, and yet the Israelis Prime Minister is inciting. He has exonerated Hitler who gave orders for the jews to be burned, put in concentration camps and sent some to exile because he wanted an Aryan race [ethnic cleansing]. It is completely unacceptable to talk about such things that are so unbelievable to such a wide range of audience. If Netanyahu made a very big impact on his audience, that is very bad news.

13th November 2015

The UN General Assembly urged the international community on Thursday to stop using unilateral measures of economic pressure against developing countries.

UN chief Ban Ki-moon has been also asked to study the consequences of these actions. The resolution was adopted by the 2nd committee of the General Assembly that deals with economic and social issues.

A total of 117 countries, including Russia, voted in favor of the document, submitted by South Africa on the part of the group of 77 developing countries. The United States and Israel voted against it.

The other 51 countries, including the EU member-states, abstained. Russia has become the co-author of the resolution this year.

The document "urges the international community to adopt urgent and effective measures to eliminate the use of unilateral coercive economic measures against developing countries that are not authorized by relevant organs of the United Nations."

The member-states of the General Assembly have asked the UN chief to "monitor the imposition of unilateral economic measures as a means of political and economic coercion and to study the impact of such measures on the affected countries, including the impact on trade and development."

Mr. Ban has been asked to present a report on this issue during the 72nd session of the General Assembly in 2017-2018.

The 2nd committee of the UN General Assembly comprises all 193 UN member-states. In late 2015, the resolution will be proposed for voting at the plenary session of the UN General Assembly.

It is not only Russia who felt strongly for developing countries through experience, even though Russia has handled the sanctions well. It is the other developing countries who are really deeply affected by sanctions on one country [Russia] which has bounced back to other developing countries with consequences. The economic pressure affecting developing countries is so great that it is astonishing that other EU member states are turning a blind eye to the affected developing countries. What they do not realise is that they could have benefitted more if the developing countries were not affected. What happens is that the economic machine is like a wheel, and one country is dependent on one another. If one country loses part of a wheel in the process except Russia [who develops a new wheel], it slows downs or stalls the economy which could have more economic benefits for other developing countries. Such moves does have an impact on trade and development, and is detrimental. It has social and economic issues, and imposing pressure on economic measures increases poverty for both the government and the people. Such moves should not be politicised as we have to think about the people. When one leader eg. Merkel wants to punish another leader eg. Putin, it does not affect any leader at all, but the people itself, and it affects the government, as the government cannot collect enough taxes and rates. That is because businesses suffer when they have to close down, or lose a substantial sum when they cannot get trade etc. Businesses can no longer prop up any government as it is happening in Europe. It is disastrous for businesses who have to go bankrupt because of sanctions. EU member states must realise this, and must have a heart. If they choose to ignore these things, then that is their problem. I rather that was not the case.

Future is so uncertain for the whole world unless something can be done

Executing prominent Shia Cleric was a distraction from unpredictably events of the Middle East Politics. This type of aggression is the result of its own internal strife and shaky political future. This has caused outrage all over the world.

The Saudi Royal Family is a growing risk of destabilising the Middle East, and has become isolated. They could start a coup or a revolt with tactics of staged provocations and international isolation whenever they feel like it. There is no long term future of the Saudi Royal Family meddling in its own government. Saudi Royal Family could end up like the Shah of Persia.

Saudi Arabia's government needs to take active supporting roles with diplomatic and economic ties. More countries should be able to integrate in the global economy with investments in any country. To integrate in the security and other spheres.

Undermining any country is unacceptable, as well as sabotaging the dialogue process threatening the participation of each country or regions. Obsessing with continuing the conflict and any war is a dismal failure. The world needs anti-terrorist cooperation with no international mercenary marketplace. Saudi Arabia's rage at blowing up assets in Syria by different countries could not be contained. As it was depriving the country of oil which is not theirs even to buy.

People all over the world has got to be free to live in open society ruled by law. This law is the International law that no country can ignore. The right to live is the greatest right of all. All states and governments have a duty to do all they can to take care of all its own people.

One interesting thing is that NATO exploited this 'opportunity' to illegally deepen its presence in Eastern Europe in contravention to the 1997 NATO-Russia Founding Act.

No one should be able to exploit any opportunity to deepen its presence anywhere in the world in contravention to International Law.

While politicians are nearly always sabotaging the dialogue process, and threatening any participation in any way if they are not peaceful people. For instance, not wanting to support non-proliferation of nuclear, arms, weaponry etc.

When all the while the people are asking for no more wars and conflicts. It is crucial that we should not have nuclear to start with. We get politicians fighting, and causing divisions saying they want Trident and so on, so why should we let them get on with all the palaver arguing all the time.

It is very important that all countries have good relations, but it is not good when one country try and help one another for fear it would put one country into discord and creating conflict.

Which is why it is a very bad idea, say US trying to mediate between two countries often with disastrous effect. There are risks in trying to mediate if the people happen to be heads of states, foreign ministers or their aides.

This is because of lack of understanding on a lot of issues which is why a mediator has to be independent like myself as I do all the research and care about people. Some countries do not put people first, and do not serve the interests of their own people.

I think some countries are using religion as an excuse for creating any conflict. Some countries still do not have understanding of say Sunnis and Shias. People of all religions were able to get along, respect each other and live together before the Iraq, Libya and Syria wars.

Continued [9th] January 2016

Iran's foreign minister has complained to the United Nations about Saudi Arabia's provocations in a letter to Ban Ki Moon today. Zarif claims that some people in Riyadh seemed bent on dragging the whole region into crisis.  Iran and Saudi Arabia have been locked in a diplomatic battle sparking a riot on the Saudi Arabia's embassy in Tehran which led to the severing of ties between the two countries. Although Iran had no desire to escalate tensions further, the two countries must not keep blaming each other for the turmoil.

Whether the Saudis and Iranians [without taking sides] are supporting extremist terrorists, and promoting sectarian hatred, there is a path of good neighbourliness and play a constructive role in regional security. I agree that executions are a domestic matter as it is dealt by the high courts of Saudi Arabia and not the Royal Family. The executions are not accepted by most world leaders as they are viewing them to be behind the times [primitive]. It is wrong when Saudi said that Iran is pursuing sectarian division by casting itself as the champion of Arab Shi'ites, while Iranians are casting Saudis as champion of Arab Sunnis. The two countries are a threat to regional and global security. The cornerstone of Saudi ruling legitimacy seem to be viewing Shi'ites as heretical and probably vice versa.

The Secretary General Ban Ki Moon reminds all parties of the utmost necessity to respect their obligations under international human rights and international humanitarian law which prohibits attacks directed against civilians and civilian infrastructure amidst intensification of coalition airstrikes and ground fighting and shelling in Yemen.

If Saudi Arabia and Iran is to defuse the deepening crisis, they both must accept that believers in true and genuine Islam does not use violence for their own means. They must both accept that they can do away with sectarianism if they both believe in unity, equality, and rights to have their own religion and respect that. It really does not matter what religion one has as long as there is equality. Shi'ites and Sunnis are just two different branches, and one thing in common is that they are Muslims. There will always be room for improvement in updating their own religion to adapt to the 21st century.

Like Northern Ireland who had hundreds of years war with Catholics and Protestants fighting, they are Christians. Efforts have been made to integrate all the people of different faiths to do schooling together, work together etc. Catholics were always fighting as they were treated unfairly like the Shi'ites, and now they are reconciled with Protestants keeping their own faiths living together in one's own country.

This is the leading example which Saudi Arabia and Iran should adopt. They must try and keep their Muslim faith true and genuine, and be reconciled by introducing equality to unite both countries. And without trying to use their own religion as an excuse.

Countries who are a threat to regional and global security are isolated, as no one would want to do business with them. If they remove the threat, there is a chance of being united in regional and global security. They have a chance of global prosperity and growth, and more chance of happiness if there is peace.

Continued [10th] January 2016]

This is not about demonising Saudi Arabia and Iran. Although I do believe that the Saudis are escalating the conflict, and they have a lot to lose against Iranians. Saudis are Wahhabis which is a strict Saudi form of Salafism created in the 18th century. This proves that Saudis are in a way terrorists in a special extreme form without legitimacy of the Muslim world. Kingdom's own stability and sensibility does not now exist with staggering arsenal and unprincipled ruling ideology. Monarchy could be in crisis. It is Middle East mess.

Shi'ite population in the region has got gulf oil resting in the Shi'ite areas in the Eastern Province. Eastern Province could break away with Saudi Shi'ites seceding with their oil and and ally with Shi'ite Iran. This would result in Saudis losing billions of oil.

Until Saudi Arabia can make changes and use their stance in the Muslim world by softening up their principles and think of the people instead of their own self interests, can they only just survive. Sunnis must leave Shi'ites alone, and not carry out any more executions, otherwise it will incur the wrath of the Shi'ites. Sunnis must also leave Syrians, Iraqis and Libyans alone as well. They have no say on who should be head of states, and should not meddle in the Syrians, Iraqis and Libyans affairs.

Saudi Arabia have engulfed Yemen in a military conflict that we can do without. The Houthis rebels started fighting by fighting against Al Qaeda to counter terrorism. The coalition of airstrikes have made 1 million people displaced and thousands have been killed.

That is political confrontation, and it is time that Yemen should have independence, and without the control of Saudi Arabia. Yemen belongs to Yemenis. The independence will stop the war and to enable normality in its new world order allowing Yemenis to have rights without interference from the Saudis Wahhabis. Wahhabis have caused conflicts right from the beginning and Wahhabis ruling Yemen is unacceptable. Yemenis desperately needs independence.

Mali

Thousands of Malians have signed a petition asking President Putin to help them put them out of their misery to end the war in their homeland. They do need to be rescued, and I hope that there will be Russian and Chinese foot soldiers who can counter terrorism to restore security. The Malians needs independence, and rights, and wants to live a normal life violence free.

North Korea and South Korea

There has been an uproar all over the world with North Korea having launched their fourth testing of nuclear missiles in the Pacific Ocean. Most of us condemn these practices, and it seemed like a real threat to the world that North Korea could mean such harm.

South Korea must stop their mass propaganda of anti-North Korea rhetoric which is not tactful at all, and must try and have diplomatic relations to eliminate any threats.

I think North Korea does not realise the mass impact it is having on South Korea, and the rest of the world. And that a military solution is not needed in the location of the Pacific Ocean.

Probably no one except myself knows, and I share this knowledge with the world that testing of nuclear missiles in the Pacific Ocean are damaging to the environment releasing methane gas, and to the sea floors.

This is because I believe the nuclear missiles are damaging the tectonic plates mostly present in the Pacific Ocean causing earthquakes. Earthquakes are effecting Japan and the Kamchatka region as well as islands around the Pacific Ocean which could go as far as the Californian coast.

I think this is the reason why earthquakes are happening are when sea floors are disturbed by nuclear missiles. The impact on the sea floors could be sudden, or it may take time for the tectonic plates to separate or whatever. North Korea must realise all that as well as posing threats to the populations living around the Pacific Ocean.

There is seismic activity on the test site where mini hydrogen bomb exploded by North Korea. The volcano have started to erupt in the Kamchatka region which coincided with the H bomb explosion.

No doubt we are concerned about hospitals, and health centres run by Doctors without Borders having been bombed. The most recent is in Yemen which could be deliberate as it is in the Houthi rebels area.

http://www.rte.ie/news/2016/0110/758969-saudi-airstrikes/

MSF Medecins Sans Frontiers keeps getting bombed, and I think we should start thinking about putting a coloured flag on the top of each building run by Doctors without Borders. And also hospitals in war zones to prevent any bombing attacks. Doctors are doing an excellent job doing it for nothing, and are risking their lives to give medical help to those in need.

Korean Peninsula

I have to add political weight to this as it is a global problem. The Korean Peninsula is more complicated than one think. It is important to keep the situation under control, and not exacerbate it. While the main work is being conducted in New York, North Korea wants to pose a big threat especially to US and its policies, and is acting on the past of Hiroshima and Pearl Harbour etc. They like to possess the strongest deterrent forces, but times have changed since World War I and II. I believe after delving into their psychological problems that North Korea is out of touch with the world, and that they may not know about CSTO or other organisations. So that they can act in concert with other countries in defending themselves globally and as a team.

Going it alone to fend themselves will not be the answer. North Korea needs to be assured that they are not alone in fighting terrorism and unwanted violence. It has got to be an international cooperation in the security sphere. Using nuclear is not the answer, as it is itself a provocation for the world and creates war and instability. China is prepared for dialogue to advance denuclearisation for peace of mind and global safety. This would de escalate tensions, but mass propaganda of anti-North Korea and the flight of B-52 over South Korea is worsening the situation. It is not promoting peace and stability given that North Korea have inherited paranoia from the past of its former leader, and that the present leader is keeping the paranoia now, and is getting more paranoid with South Korea going against North Korea, and the presence of B-52 is not helping. I assume the testing of an H bombs was to tell everyone to back off indirectly. The present North Korea leader's mind is quite fragile, I would say, and North Korea is so out of touch with what the world is trying to do now, and that is to counter terrorism and dealing with unwanted violence.

Saudi Arabia and Iran's rivalry

Saudi and Iranian rivalry has been primarily over power play. Since the change of the Iranian revolution, there have been competition to prove who was the most worthy of leading the Islamist world. The hostilities from both sides sprang from religion.

Saudi Arabia was created since 1932, the Arabian Peninsula is the birthplace of Islam and home to two of its holiest shrines in Mecca and Medina. In the 7th century there were Islamic conquests with armies from Arabia to defeat the Persians ending their Sasanian Empire. Following the death of the Prophet Muhammed later that year, a dispute erupted over who should succeed as Caliph to rule the Islamic Empire.

Shias still harbour the historic grudge when the Prophet's cousin and son in law was assassinated and his two sons were denied the succession, which led to a break up and became the party of Ali now known as Shia Ali. They are a majority in Iran, Iraq, Bahrain and two towns in Syria or more.

The Al Saud regime was shaken to the core after the brief storming and occupation of the Grand Mosque in Mecca by dissidents of Islamic group, and decided to cement its ties with the austere Wahhabi religious establishment giving the clerics a huge say in areas of public life like education, justice and social mores.

So why did they really execute the Shia Cleric for speaking out for rights? This is because Saudis did not want any Shias to be part of the Saudi Arabia's government, and disliked any Shias of trying to take part in it.

Quasi arms race was born to influence with both Iran and Saudi Arabia exporting and promoting their own versions of Islam in direct competition with each other. The Saudis accused Iran of fuelling Shia discontent in Saudi and Bahrain and backing the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Iran accused the Saudis of bankrolling such an extreme intolerant brand of Sunni Islam that they hold them responsible for the rise in jihadist groups like al Qaeda and the so called Islamist State.

The current war of words included Saudi Arabia supporting Turkey, and its unwanted ideals of the Islamist State with spikes in tension. Saudi Arabia and its Arab Gulf allies backed Saddam Hussein against revolutionary Iran. There have been protests, tiny little wars, disagreements which deepened Saudis distrust of Iran. With a warning to back off and forget any idea of toppling the Sunni Monarchy and replacing it with the Shia Islamic Republic.

We now have a moderate pragmatic President Hassan Rouhani. Saudi Arabia have got an aggressive foreign policy which is bogged down in an unwinnable war in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen against the Shias.

As mediator - the answer to the main problem of both religious competitions is to have no competition at all, and forget about their differences. The appalling civil wars between the Sunni and Shias must come to an end if they leave each other alone, and promise not to create a so called Islamist State. Otherwise the rest of the world will do its utmost to destroy the so called Islamist State. I suggest that the Shias' pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina be conducted separately to have more peace time, and avoid overcrowding from the Sunnis. They also must be responsible for any dissidents aimed to upset the Shias or the Sunnis.

There can be no geopolitical goals, and political institutions have to take precedent over religion to achieve peace and stability. This applies to Turkey as well. There can be no sectarianism and hatred on both sides. There are so many ethnicities, nationalities, different religious denominations living all over the world, and in each countries who do not fight each other. We are really tolerant to one another.

This is a statement to NPR from Saudi Arabia's Embassy in Washington, where they argue that Nimr was involved in terror attacks and received due process:
"Saudi Arabia is very determined to confront terrorism and will show no mercy to those that kill the innocents. Nimr Al-Nimr, along with the other 46 individuals, had their due process and were convicted of terror operations that led to the killing of innocent people.
"Al-Nimr was dedicated to destabilizing and disrupting society and economic prosperity. He used religious platforms and social media to incite violence and terrorism. He was implicated in inciting and recruiting people to commit terrorist acts, providing weapons and munitions for people to commit terrorist acts, and involvement in attacks against security personnel and police stations that led to the killing of innocents.
"Al-Nimr founded a terrorist cell and advocated an armed insurgency against the government. He spread messages of violence and hatred throughout the Middle East region."
They are very disturbing allegations, and relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran continues to spiral downwards. I ask Saudi Arabia to refrain from using the language of these so called allegations against Al Nimr.

It is not worth the anger and hate which is offloading onto their own people to spread more hate and anger.

Saudi Arabia and Iran must think of the psychological welfare of their own people, and stop this spread of hate and anger. Whatever differences and grievances, these both countries have, they both must rise above it.

The allegations against Al Nimr must be proven to the United Nations.

I can find no proof that Al Nimr have committed such crimes relating to terrorism, destabilising, disrupting society and economic prosperity. If Saudi Arabia cannot provide evidence against Al Nimr, evidence not by word of mouth unless it is on video. We must have concrete evidence against Al Nimr, if not, let him rest in peace with goodness in his soul.
